Who a Rust community website is for

Wipe morning is chaos even when Discord is organised. Players shopping for a monthly wipe, a duo/trio lock, or a clan-friendly pop still need a public page before they ever click Join: when is wipe, map or BP wipe, team limits, raid rules, monuments, staff, Discord.

These Rust website templates are built for that public layer. They suit monthly wipe servers, weekly grinders, solo/duo/trio locks, large clan pops, lightly moderated roleplay islands and small friend groups that still want to look intentional when someone Googles the server name. You keep your game host wherever it already is. GameSignal only hosts the website that sits in front of it.

If you only ever recruit from one Discord and never publish wipe times or rules outside chat, you probably do not need a site. If you are tired of answering “when wipe?” and “BP wipe or map?” in DMs every Thursday, a Rust community website pays for itself in fewer support threads and fewer no-shows on wipe morning.

Pages included on a Rust template

Exact layout differs between Blackout, Oxide Raiders and Scrapyard, but the job of each design is the same: get a player from “found you on a list or a friend mention” to “connected, in Discord, and clear on the wipe schedule” without a scavenger hunt.

  • Home / wipe status — community name, short pitch, wipe countdown or schedule, and connection details so the site feels like a server hub rather than a brochure.
  • Rules — team limits, online/offline raiding, roof camping, monument etiquette, kits, cheating and whatever house rules your admins actually enforce.
  • Staff — who runs the place, so players know who to ping when a base desyncs or a ban appeal needs eyes.
  • Discord — a join path that is obvious on every important page, not only the footer, because that is where teams form before Launch Site opens.
  • Wipe / BP wipe notes — space for map wipe versus blueprint wipe, forced wipe alignment, or mid-wipe restarts without rewriting the whole site.
  • Store links — optional, when you run kits, VIP or cosmetics through an external shop.

Scrapyard leans harder into the wipe clock and dashboard stats; Oxide Raiders keeps the classic connect-card and gallery feel. Blackout is the £14.99 premium industrial design with hero video, terminal connect console and monument boards — built specifically for Rust server culture, not a recolour of another game.

How setup works

Pick the Rust design that fits your community mood, then choose a hosting plan. Community starts at £5.99/mo and includes a standard game template such as Oxide Raiders or Scrapyard. You send community name, logo, Discord invite, server IP or connection notes, wipe schedule text, and any rule copy you already have. We put the site on premium web hosting with SSL so players get a normal HTTPS address.

Want to tweak copy, colours or images yourself afterwards? Use the edit templates guide — it walks through Visual Studio Code and GIMP without assuming you build sites for a living. Prefer we handle branding changes? Higher plans include more hands-on help.

One important boundary: this is not Rust game server hosting. We do not rent you the box that runs the dedicated server, Oxide plugins or Facepunch updates. We host the website your players open in a browser. Keep your game server with the provider you already trust; the site simply points people at it and explains how your wipes, raiding rules and clan culture work.

Choosing Blackout, Oxide Raiders or Scrapyard

Blackout (£14.99 premium) is for server owners who want a cinematic, bunker-style community HQ: video hero, terminal status panel, copy-IP connect, wipe board, monuments and Discord CTA. Not included with hosting — one-time Premium template.

Oxide Raiders is the classic Facepunch-red community layout with a side connect card, feature tiles and gallery. It fits public servers and clans that want a familiar Rust look out of the box.

Scrapyard leads with wipe. Hero countdown, dashboard-style stats, a direct connect slab and a store strip. It fits monthly wipe communities, competitive duo/trio pops and any group where “when is next wipe?” is the first question every recruit asks.

After launch — Rust-focused guides

Wipe mornings break stale copy. Keep the site honest with wipe & schedule pages, then lock Discord CTAs via Discord links. Rules and staff: rules, staff. Hub: all guides.

Questions about Rust websites on GameSignal

No. GameSignal hosts your community website — wipe info, status, rules, staff and Discord pages. Your Rust game server stays with whatever provider you already use. The site links players to that server; it does not replace it. See hosting plans for what the web side includes.

Oxide Raiders and Scrapyard are the Rust designs available with hosting. They cover home with wipe countdown or status, rules, staff, Discord join links and space for store or kit links.

Yes. Name, logo, colours, Discord invite, wipe schedule and server details are meant to be edited. Follow the edit templates guide (VS Code + GIMP), or ask us to apply branding when your plan includes that help.

Yes. Both templates give you room for next wipe timing. Scrapyard leads with a wipe clock on the hero; Oxide Raiders includes countdown and wipe notes so players know map wipe versus blueprint wipe without digging through Discord pins. More answers on the main FAQ.
