Charter & Raid Rules

Example policies for the Ashen Covenant demo - edit loot, attendance and conduct to match your real guild.

1. Conduct

Banter is fine. Toxicity is not. We expect respect in Discord, voice and whispers - toward guildmates and the wider community.

No harassment, hate speech or real-world threats.
Keep drama out of raid voice; take it to officers privately.
Represent the guild well in pug groups and community events.

2. Raid attendance

Mythic progress depends on a stable core. Sign up on Discord by the weekly deadline so we can plan comps.

Core nights: Wednesday & Friday, 20:00-23:00 server time.
Notify officers 24 hours ahead if you will miss a night.
Three no-shows without notice in a tier may open your raid spot.
Bench rotation is fair - sit nights still count toward trial feedback.

3. Loot policy

We use RCLootCouncil. Officers run the vote; the goal is faster kills, not personal BiS races.

Major upgrades for the active raid role take priority.
Off-spec and alt pieces are secondary unless the council agrees otherwise.
No gold bidding, no soft reserves without officer approval.
BoE drops may be sold for the guild repair / consumable fund when not needed.

4. Performance & prep

Come ready. We expect research, consumables and a working mic on progress pulls.

Watch the assigned strat / VOD before first pull of a new boss.
Bring flasks, pots, food and runes - guild bank helps when stocked.
Parse chasing is fine; griefing teammates for meters is not.
Addon list is posted in Discord; WeakAuras for current tier are required.

5. Trials & applications

Trials last two full raid weeks. Feedback is honest and private. Officers decide promote / extend / decline.

Submit logs (or a clear explanation if you are returning / new).
Be available for both core nights during trial.
Alts are welcome after main is raid-ready.

6. Appeals & officers

Questions about loot, attendance or warnings go through Discord tickets - not public callouts after raid.
